Im making a DC order and Im not sure which speedo cable and gear to order for my 66 F100 352/3spd.
DC uses the Ford p/n"s.
Also I need the clips to mount the side molding on the hood of my CC. Any idea which clips I need? DC lists 1 type, LMC lists 3 types.
Any help on what to order?

Re: Financing classic cars
Its a thought Im mulling over. We have very few bills right now and its nice to have most of our income disposable. I have found a super nice 66 that needs nothing for 6k and a couple restomod 58 Chevys for 12k and 18k that Im also interested in. Since I want a DD its tough to borrow 30-40k when I c...

Re: Ebay can be a real bummer
Add the trouble of boxing and shipping large or odd shaped items to the list. I prefer CL now. I have sent several feedback emails to ebay but they aren't interested. I agree its hard to do a search for items due to all the junk sellers list as being for a "66 F100". That's another reason ...

Re: seeking advice (removing windshield)
I used to work P/T in a glass shop. we cut from the outside.
Take your time and go slow. Use quality blades, not HF specials. It makes a difference.
Its very easy for the blade to pop out of the rubber and cut across the paint.

New Headliner Arrived
Im impressed. The backing is plastic and is cut to the exact contour of the original, including the cutouts for the clips. The front is a heavy vinyl that is glued to the backing. The color and texture is supposed to match the original seat. I cant verify this since I don't have an original seat cov...

Financing classic cars
Have any of you ever done it? Good or bad experience? I would like to pick up a classic, maybe a 57 Chevy Sport Sedan or a 32 Roadster. Money is so cheap to borrow right now, it seems that it is better to invest the cash if you have it. I can get a loan on a classic for 3.25-3.5% The misses puts 20%...

I saw that yesterday. A fine looking truck at the right price IMO. If only I needed it.

Personally I would not do it. I abhor holes in perfectly good sheet metal.

1 Tons
I saw a pic of a 59 Apache 1 ton DRW with a stepside bed and inner and outer fenders.
It had both axles flipped and looked very well built.
Anyone seen any DRW Slicks built the same way?

It should show up in the fuel filter. Remove the filter and poor the gas in a jar, if there is sugar you should see it.

Re: Ebay can be a real bummer
Ebay now bases their selling fees on the sales price and shipping. They claim its to keep sellers from charging unreasonable shipping charges. I claim its to increase their profits. I have only charged actual shipping, why should I have to pay additional fees? So I choose not to sell on ebay and now...

I bid 9k on this truck. It sold for $9700. The seller had it listed on his website for 18k. Im guessing he has a shill bidder driving up the price, when it doesnt meet the minimum he reports the bidder to ebay as a deadbeat so he doesnt have to pay ebay fees. He always lists as a private listing so ...

Re: Ebay can be a real bummer
Ebay will end an auction, see it all the time. I buy way less on ebay than I used to. I will not sell on ebay ever again. Fees keep going up, buyers sit around and dream up the most stupid questions that only waste my time. No matter how many pics you post they want more. I sell local, on the variou...

I missed out on a 64 header panel because I was 3 hands short on that nut that was spinning.
I ended up having to leave it.

Ramcharger Rims
I went to the P-N-P this morning looking for rims. I found some 16x7 E150 rims but they have the slots in them and I wanted plain rims. I found some nice 15x6.5 Ramcharger rims, 3 of them are spares and are already white and in nice shape, the 4th is ok but needs some paint work. At $15 each the pri...
