Houston, we have color. Got Nadine's new suit finished today. Boss white, all of her. The hard part is I have to wait at least three days before I can actually do anything except take the tape off. It looks great just like it is and I know I won't, but I have to ask, can single stage urethane be buf...

I'll take it as is for $75.00 and pay shipping so you won't have to lug it around.

The first time I ever saw it (years ago) I was instantly rendered speachless.....
Now years later, every time I see it I'm rendered....... well, you know what I'm talking about.

Truckster. It's a little more complicated than just using the blade type connectors. I have a drawing I'll bring to Pate and show you so it will make more sense. That and I probably have one of the rubber plugs that I can give you to splice in. Patience Grasshopper. Only three more weeks. Uncle Skip

Oil restrictor plug in FE heads
The book says you're supposed to put a restrictor plug under your rocker arm stand to restrict the flow of oil to the top of the motor and keep it in the bottom of the engine where it needs to be. The hole is ~3/16" in its stock form and the Ford performance builders book says that you should o...

Re: 64 Tweety Bird
Just a little up to date information on the electric motor problem we were having. The window register was bottoming out and jamming the motor which then quit working. But apparently, when the motor jammed it shorted out the little leads we were using to jump the motors from the battery. Daryl got n...

PurpleFlyingMonkey electric window upgrade
Just found out that the motors we're using in Tweetybird are not burned out. Seems that there is an internal switch or thermocouple inside the motor that turns it off if it jams. You know, like a kids neck or arm caught in the window. Also seems that it resets itself after a few minutes. Our problem...

Re: Single pot MC question
There is no residual pressure valve on a Slick because the fluid reservoir is above the level of the cylinders and the fluid holds what pressure is needed on the brakes. This works because the fluid can't flow back uphill to the M/C. They used them in Effies because the master cylinder was on the sa...

Re: Truck names?
Nadine got her name because when I walked out of the shop after I decided not to buy her Chuck Berry came on the oldies station and started singing.... "Nadine".
It was a message from God.
I went back and paid the man.
20+ years later, she's on her 3rd upgrade.

Ask for Parker A-lock fittings or there is another manufacturer called Swedgelock. Both work very well and can handle the pressure of the clutch system.
Good luck.

Re: Engine Oil Problems
Chris, they are little metal "cups" that are press fitted in the ends of the oil galley in the lifter bay........ That oil galley empties out at the front of the block where the distributor goes in the intake manifold. In fact, I'm having a similar problem with my FE and I'm getting ready ...
