i would check the toe as well. i have done a few tie rod end replacements with the "count the thread" method and never got around to having them properly aligned and got the same wear pattern as your describing.

that's pretty much the full gen 2 lightning interior. dash and all. and i agree with you. i like metal and fabric. no plastic for me.

looks like a workhorse. i had a 76 xlt ranger with a 460 c6. went down the road great.
the good thing is that parts are cheap and plentiful for them too. have fun with it!
