you can see just a part of the inside step in the 13th pic. i did not know that 61/63 had a different roof line than the 64/up. learn something new every day.

both of the 64's i owned were cc's and both had the round style inst. cluster so what's the deal? did ford just put what they wanted in whatever model? btw, i never understood the reasoning for the single turn signal indicator light in the sweeping style cluster???

any military slick owners here?

ok, that came out kind of ambiguous-what i mean is, does anyone here own an ex-military slick? i was looking at a 61 the other day and found a nominclature tag on the right upper inner fenderwell. i can't remember what all wa on it, but it did say "property of u.s. government" and the date...

That sounds super cool. I don't think it was a factory thing, but the guy must have done a good job to make you question it. Mercury had that one style of car..Monterey? that had that power rear window on a car around then. maybe that's where the bezel came out of. I'd like to see pictures especial...

i got nothing on most here (lots of nice 60's ford iron), but my very first car was a 63 mg midgit. it had removable plexiglas side curtains and a positive ground electrical system. that was a fun car when it wasn't broke down. i also liked my 65 continental sedan.
