Glad to have an ally, I made a career in the Air Force too. I thought I had lots of Fords, you have more than I do.

Re: my shipwrecked '63

Even though it uses a 64 cab there are still a lot of differences between the bigger truck and the pick up. ...

I am glad that you found the XL markings. That confirms what I was thinking. Same place as mine only on the interior side. I am wondering how many others have found the markings?

Re: my shipwrecked '63
April, both my truck have the headlight switch in the first hole and the wiper switch in the second one. I guess it does not make a lot of difference which one you use unless the wiring has trouble reaching. They are so close it probably wouldn't. I have a picture from the owners manual that I will ...

You can get the wiper seals from any of the vendors. Tom is a good one you can trust him. Its not a must to use the fresh air vents, but it sure is nice in the summer. Again you can get a new headliner. I did my truck but don't remember now if they come out from the front or the rear, guess I could ...

Re: my shipwrecked '63
I bought a totally stainless bolt kit a few months ago.. it's a weird kit and missing stuff you'd need. I have some stuff on hand but have to make a trip to Ace. Onward to the couch, brats, beer and pups. That was a plus being in the Air Force and in an aircraft maintenance squadron. I would go dow...

I was getting ready to ask the question of what linkage you used for your C-6 swap. Never mind I saw the floor shift. I have a C-6 and getting ready to swap the New Process four speed out and C-6 in.

Re: Old used car dealer tricks and how to spot some of those
Taking a drill motor to run back a speedometer would talk forever. If you just removed ten thousand miles you would be there for days. I just always remove the odometer and realigned the numbers, it was a lot quicker. I wasn't doing it to sell cars but rather when I did a total restoration I would z...

I had a Colonoscopy last week and I lost several pounds over night. Funny thing I gained them back in just a few days. I don't think I want anymore of them, not a lot of fun.

I went to Houston in my truck a 260 mile round trip. I will haul something in it that wont scratch up the bed. Mostly for transportation and no working.
