I like my miller pro hobby. I would say it's an entry level auto darkening helmet. It's as fast as all but the very expensive elite helmets. It uses easy to find AAA cells. I only wish it had a grind mode. I never wish for a larger viewing area...I always think it's funny that they advertise helmets...

Did you notice any metal shavings, chunks, or dust/sludge. That kind of stuff will tell the tale. Look inside with a flashlight, is there corrosion? Does it go into gear? When you get it out you can turn it by hand.

I was looking at cutting the tubes out of the crown Vic frame. Since they are already the perfect length and I.D. my plan if they stuck out past the frame too far was to fit a spacer plate over them. Then weld it all up.

Folks all talk about moving it forward between 1 1/2 to two inches in order to center the wheels in the wheel wells. My son did not want to lower his flare side so we put a two inch square channel under instead of over the cross brace and it looked terrible thaty way, so we centered it where the ol...

If you were or have installed the 03+ crown Vic IFS in a 61-63 f100. Where would you locate it in relation to factory straight axle location.

There was a guy with a slick that had an om617 turbo in it. His son worked repairing MB. I asked for lots of pictures but I never saw the thread again.

Sorry to say at 29 feet I would buy a fifth wheel. Is this a flat bed or camping trailer? 6000 # seems light for a 29 foot camping trailer.
