Re: NICE N-Series on E-Bay that sold reasonable
Well, it might have been a bargain, but what would you use it for? I for one have little to no use for it. Lot of money spent but I don't think my wife would want to bop around town in it. Not sure I would. I feel certain it rides just as it looks. Rich I am a whack job that would use it as a DD, w...

You would not believe the ammount of people that have looked under the truck and said it does have a 2 speed in it. We were at a show and my wife had to tell a couple of guys they were wrong, they didn't believe her.

Re: Tail Lights
I don think the PO wired them correctly when he replaced the lights on my 64 flareside. It looks like both filaments are on when the head lights are on. There are no brake lights when the headlights are on. When the headlights are off, there are weak brake lights. The rear turn signals work with th...

Re: Tail Lights
You should get the same brightness on either wire with your testlight, the bulbs with 2 different filaments is what determines bright [stop/turn], dim [tail/running] With your sockets disconected, pull your headlight switch out 1 click AND put on your hazards, if your don't have hazards, turn on eit...

Re: Nightmares
Out here [Rhode Island] no title required on anything over 10 years old, but, you have to have a former registration to register your new ride. So pulling a truck from a local boneyard around here, the owner has to be a used car dealer so you can register you vehicle. There are some used dealers fo...

Re: Tail Lights
Because that lamp assembly is both parking lamp and turn signal lamp, you need both filaments say when your parking lights are 'on' dim one is parking, bright one for turn signal. Unless you've got the optional fender lamps in which [ if factory] the parking lamp assembly would have a single [1156 ...

Re: Tail Lights
I also have a flareside bed, all new, after about 2 years time I had some lighting issues with my rear lamps, took jumper cables from frame to bed, they worked as they should. added a braided ground strap from the chassis to the bed, no issues since. Every time I go out with my truck I do a walk ar...
