TT if you look closely at that pic in the link Ace put up, the gray part there gos in the door about 3" deep, and below the opening a few inches too. A person with a mind to could get a six-pack of their favourite beverage in there, if they had the mind to  When I was in highschool that ...

You're probably right. But don't let it get away. If I can find another 10 or 12 Slick 60'ers that have one I'll be fixed up.

Thanks for the info and I'm checking AMK's site. Lots of clips to look through. I'll keep at it though.

Engine Paint Color 64 223 "6"

It is my understanding that the original engine colors for this engine was Block = Black, Valve Cover = Ford Red (think it was called Vermillion). Was the Oil Bath Air Cleaner Vermillion or Black? What about the push rod cover plate on the side of the engine? Thanks in advance.

Clips for Chrome Door Panel Trim (16-64 F100)

I have scored a nice set of Chrome Door Panel Trim for my 64 F100. Only one clip (example photo below) came with the set. Anyone have any extras laying around or is there any chance that these are still available from a supplier? Part #?

Thanks guys! I'm hoping my body shop guy (who will be painting the interior for me) will have pity on me an install it for me (I'm sure he has more experience on this kind of thing than I do.). He just restored my father-in-law's 66 Bronco which had spent many hours on the NE Louisiana hunting trail...

Door Seals (Soaking before installing)

I did try a search, but didn't find what I needed. I read recently how you're supposed to soak your new door seals (I bought them from Dennis Carpenter) in soapy water (never understand the WHY of soaking, but want the best fit possible) Do you let them dry with soap on them or rinse them off and le...

I'm not looking for anything radical. Just thought it might handle and look better if it was a "little" lower. I'm already "down by the bow" a little with a slight rake.

Greg: Any idea what's the distance from the ground to the bottom of the bumper? What did you do to the rear? Take out leaves also. How did it affect ride? Guess it couldn't hurt it much...slick's aren't known for their ride quality.

Thanks! Glad to hear it's that simple. I've had the fuel problem too. Got stranded a couple of time for no apparent reason (other than no gas to carb) replaced the fuel pump, filter and finally disconnected and blew out the lines and back into the tank and the problem seems solved. Guess here's a &q...

Sorry to hijack your post, but since we're discussing "Easy Off" I read recently that you could put oven cleaner on the exterior trim (chrome?) then buff it. Anyone tried this? Not sure what the trim is made of.

Nice Find Turtle. I didn't know this was available. I was looking at making something similar to this from aluminum plate and mounting the new speedo behind the original glass, but this would be much easier (though not cheap). Slick Fan: An example photo would be nice. This item replaces the tin mou...
