Update!!
Lifted the stand on the trailer with the hoist and put all the smaller parts in the tool box and went to the car was with degreaser!! Bam!! Looks much better. Now to oil it and put back togather

Well. Finally got motor on engine stand and was able to get the oil pan off. Lots of metal shavings, but can't see any damage other than Chips off the block. I called around and got different prices for a motor rebuild to push 400 hp and that was around $4k-$6k which Is the ball park I figured. So I...

Saturday night update. Clean the thick gunk from inside the valve covers. Now to shine up the aluminum. Removed gas tank. It definitely needs replaced. 2 gobbed up welds on the back to stop some leaks. Now to get an engine stand. Drain the oil. Pull oil pan off, and turn the motor upside down and cl...

UPDATE: Got the truck to run. Leaking antifreeze from rear plugs. Motor is now ready to pull out. Taking hood off today and getting ready to pull.
The guy I bought it from lost the key. It's a factory switch. Will any factory key work? I hate changing out these darn ignition switches
