Play nice Boyz Steve we have all seen what you can do, and if you don't choose to compete, hey you must have your reasons, man. Unforgiven I think it was misunderstood in this long thread that you were the asker of the original question, not an answerer. Thanks for helping out bud. Good Luck on the ...

Tim (Fanatic) has a stock tank on his FI 5.0. He said he put a new hole/line for the feed line on the bottom of his tank, and uses the original fuel line/location for a return line.

Tom. Looks like the bracket is parallel...
In other words reversing it would raise it or lower it but would not change the angle.

I could put some washers behind some of the bolts I guess.. doesn't seem right tho.

Wayne what did you do with Sinc's?

I have an MP power brakes boster on my '64, have not put fluid in it yet. Are they supposed to sit on such a goofy angle? Mine sits with the front of the reservoir about 1/2 to 1/4" lower than the back,,, I will have to jack the truck up to make it level enough to fill the brakes... Yeah, Garb...

Listen, Garbz is going to work for the shop whose designer drives that bare metal thing with the econoline lights , and you love that horrible purple Zot thing with the big white walls and airbags, Comet, so I realize all our tastes aren't the same. It's your truck do what you want. I don't have to ...

I wouldn't classify myself as a restorer (of Slicks, that is) more maybe, a resto-rod guy. IMO a Slick only looks good with it's original grille , right for the year, and body pretty much intact. Seen some cool mirrors like Tim Fanatic's and some NICE mods, like the Lightning/slick, but the Geo. Bar...

Yep My frugality with roddoors cost me almost 300 dollars for a headliner and the same for carpet. I could have bought both for half, the headliner from National Parts Depot and the Carpet directly from ACC I would recommend that to anyone considering Roddoors in the future, Frugality will COST you.
