And the weather there should be getting good enough to take it for a drive.

Re: '62 Unibody
Well that makes it clear as mud now. I am sure that when I get to looking at both inner fenders, it will all make sense and turn out well. Now if I could just get proficient enough with that TIG welder to use it instead of the MIG, I would be in good shape. Thanks for that info, it will help a...

Rob, Welcome to the site. There are a lot of great people here.
Maybe if you are still in the states in the summer of 2016, we can meet up north and drive together to SlickStock.

Re: '62 Unibody
Steve, I am so glad that you have done this. I have a big truck inner for Nick's truck and I wasn't sure how I wanted to cut it to make it fit. I definitely wanted to keep the bump out at the front so that it will match the drivers side. I don't think that they will look correct if they don't match....

Re: camaro subframe in a 65?????
I agree with Tom on some engines fitting well. My 4.6 4cam looks like it was always in there. The 4.6 is a rear sump and with the front steer Camaro, it all fit great. The JAG is a different story with the rear steer. We are putting a 5.4 DOHC in Nick's truck and we had to get a different oil pan to...

Re: camaro subframe in a 65?????
I put a Camaro sub-frame in my truck and haven't had any problems with it. It drives and rides very well so no complaints. But, if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't use it. The only reason why is that I wouldn't want to cut the frame again. I reinforced the frame so I am not worried about that b...

Re: hood hinges
Not sure Kevin's kit would eliminate that potential problem. Hopefully, he will correct me if I am mistaken. There are easy low budget solutions to that problem, however. Correct adjustment on the factory latches and safety goes far to negate that possibility, IMO. Paul I know that my hood kit will...

Re: 223 6cyl Air Conditioning
My truck originally had a 223 in it. My Dad had put an a/c unit in it and it handled it fine. He even pulled a trailer with a 1000 lb. sand car on it along with all of his camping gear and it still did fine. It was a little slow going up the 6% grade going to flagstaff but it still made it. He found...

Re: Rusty 63 F100 + 04 CV PI
Kevin: So I could conceivably lay the late hump on the floor, trace it, cut an inch or so inside the lines (whatever the width of the flange would be), and I ought to be good? (In theory) In theory, that is the way that it appeared to be on Nick's truck. I decided not to go that way and did get the...

Re: Rusty 63 F100 + 04 CV PI
The early hump is wider than the 65/66. The 65/66 trans cover will sit on top of the factory hump. The 64 cover sits flat on the floor after the original hump is removed. I haven't cut out Nick's floor yet but that is the way that it appears.

Re: Rusty 63 F100 + 04 CV PI
We purchased what was supposed to be a 64 4 speed cover and it came as a 65/66 4 speed cover. It will sit on top of the factory floor if you only need height clearance. If you need side clearance, it won't help. The guy that we bought this one from made it right and sent us the correct one, then he ...

Follow Paul's advise on checking grounds. Bad grounds will make you spend a lot of time chasing electrical wires and then you are likely to pull all of your hair out before you are done and then find a bad ground.

You will also want to check the u-joint angle on the trans. It should be 3-5 degrees downhill to offset the rear end angle so that it will cancel out driveline vibration.

ok. does anyone make one that fits better? is there a way to modify mine? Welcome from Phoenix. Yes you can modify yours to fit. Find a good chrome shop that has the correct patterns for the bumpers, strip the chrome, have them straighten the bumper, bring it home and fit it to your truck. Grind th...

A Model "A" is small inside. No bigger than Beth and I are, we sit shoulder to shoulder in ours. That new frame looks nice. He should have come out here and bought my 29 Sedan Delivery. It is complete ad ready to go. I have decided that I think that it is time to let mine go. What are his ...

I saw one today at the Good-Guys swap meet. It said that it was for a y-block. It was smooth aluminum and had a filler tube welded on it with a cap. He wanted $20.00 for it. If anybody is interested, I can text them a pic. I will be out there tomorrow from about 8am until probably about 4pm MST My c...

where did you get the tail light filler kit form? i like that idea I bought one piece of aluminum and the rest was built out of material from my garage.
