My transmission is fixed finally
As some of you know, I have been having problems with my 4r70W trans in my truck with the torque converter cycling in & out. It wouldn't stay locked up like it should. I finally have it fixed. It only took about 3 years to find out what the problem was. :? I had the brake/on/off switch hooked up...

Re: Auto Painting Question Need Help!!
The shorter the air hose, the more even the air pressure. I have several fittings around my garage and use a 15 ft. hose for the paint gun.

We finally got home this afternoon.
Thanks to Darrell and Robbin for putting on a good show.
Looking forward to Salina in 2 years.
No more trailer - too many problems.

Re: broke down
Paul, It sounds like we both had a lot of the same bad luck. I didn't even know that the wheel and tire were gone so I didn't even attempt to go back and look for it. We unloaded the 63 and Beth drove it into Amarillo so we could get the trailer repaired. If the trans wasn't giving me problems, I wo...

Re: broke down
Got a new spindle put on so now it only has 3 brakes. We got going and made it 5 miles down the road and blew up the spare. Now we are sitting in Discount Tire waiting on a new tire.

broke down
We are broke down in Amarillo Texas. Trailer bearing out and we lost the brake drum, wheel and tire. I don't have any idea where the tire and wheel even went. We stopped at a rest stop and it was gone. We have a shop replacing the spindle so we can get home and then I will have to replace the axle. ...

Welcome back to the U.S. At least you know that you didn't do anything to bad last time because they let you back in.

Build your own 68 GT500KR
I saw this on the Hagerty news email that I get and thought that there might be some that would want one of these.

I haven't made one but I am thinking about it. I saved the file so I can build it whenever I want to.

I finished mounting the hoses going the hydroboost and the p/s pump today. http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u254/stonezones63/Nicks%2063%20F100/IMG_1954_zps3a0a1c04.jpg I found some chrome triple hose separators on ebay for Harleys and figured that they would work for what we need. I picked up som...

I don't think that mine will work on the uni. I think that the taillight is too small to work like mine does. I haven't taken Nick's out yet but they appear to be smaller.

Dave,
Go to the bottom of the page and click on see all 17 photos. When that page comes up, you can open each pic and the text is there to print. It will take extra pages but you should be able to get it all that way.

:welcome: from Phoenix. It sounds like you have a handle on the amount of work involved in the project. It will all be worth it when you are finished. I took 9 1/2 years to complete mine. Show us some pics of the engine in the Maverick. I love those 4V engines. They look so cool in an old vehicle. K...

Phil, Get a hold of the body shop and let him know that he has the aluminum tubes put in wrong. The drivers side should have the knurled end down towards the front of the truck and the passenger side should be up towards the hood. If they aren't this way, when he puts the shocks on them, they will l...

Re: Nicks 63 Uni
We got some work done on Nick's truck this weekend. We got the cooler put in for the P/S and the hydroboost. I felt that it probably needed a cooler due to both item items being used. http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u254/stonezones63/Nicks%2063%20F100/IMG_1943_zps3670c8a6.jpg We had to relocate t...
