oddly i have never given this any thought.i have replaced countless studs, they always seemed to thread into the manifolds so the tapped holes in the manifold must be the normal 75% thread and the factory studs made to tightly thread in the holes maybe an extra 5% im guessing the nuts are normal lik...

Barnie no pics but i have the oval vent on my truck, all i did was cut a piece of aluminum door screen and drilled 4 holes on the inside flange big enough for a small pull tie to fit thru the vent and screen. cant see any of it unless the vent door is open and you crane your neck to look inside. lat...

they used 8 on the f250s at least into the mid 1990s, i have no clue as to what is on them since then as i have not owned or worked on anything any newer.

in the bed would be mounted on a bracket attached to the bedrail and floor on drivers side front
underneath the bed a carrier behind the axle
pretty sure the in bed was for longbeds and underneath for shorts, at least this is what i have seen over the years.

regular cleaning of the drains is definitely needed
dont forget the ones in the bottom of the doors

on the back of passenger side air vent i used a piece of screen to keep junk from getting into the heater box (deluxe heater) as there was a bunch of leaves and dirt in there too
