Thanks! It's not the best fab job but it will do...final judgement will be after the new upholstery is on and it permanently in the truck!milldinaire wrote:I wasn't sure how that second row tahoe seat would look. You sure made it look pretty sharp.. Gotta love that folding center console. Looks great!

Re: Jack's '65
The 65 is off to the body shop for body and paint...I had the bed, hood, fenders, doors and a couple smaller pieces media blasted last week to save time at the body shop. I also got the gas filler installed in the bed floor. Eta on body and paint is about 3 to 4 weeks, then it's a mad thrash for ass...

Door parts
Does any one know of a vendor that sells the glass runners and the screws that hold the window regulators and door latches in the door? I had to drill and extract some screws last night to be able to tear my doors down for paint and new anti rattler kits...and the glass runner that is in the back ed...

I can't decide if I'm gonna recover it or just have the color changed on it. The leather is in really good shape just needs re-dyed...I really want to go with a darker tan just not sure how dark yet.

Looks great! I keep talking myself out of doing the crown Vic setup just because I'm so close to body and paint I don't want to go backwards in my build....but now I'm thinking about it again. Thanks haha

Re: Jack's '65
Picked up a 2nd row seat out of a 2002 tahoe, they are really comfortable seats and the width is dead on...and it has a fold down console. Well it was way more work than I anticipated to get it to fit, and it isn't adjustable. But I'm 6'4" so no biggie just put it in as far back as possible. I ...

Re: Media blasting and body shop recommendations Reno
My buddy owns a body shop and I trust him to do the work...only problem is that he is super busy doing quick easy insurance jobs that it might be a while before he can squeeze me in. I found a couple places out here that can do the blasting but their prices seem a bit high for what I need done

Don't let it get you down. I was at the same pont as you several times with my Mustang, it took me 11 years from buy and tear into to completion. No one expects these to be done in record time, you're not a half hour TV show!! I did farm out the final body work, pannel aliignment and paint. All thi...

Media blasting and body shop recommendations Reno
Hey guys I'm looking for a good recommendation in the northern nevada area to take the 65 to get media blasted and also get the body work and paint done. Any recommendations would be awesome! Also I'm not really sure of any groups or clubs in our area for F100's or trucks in general. Any heads up on...

Re: Jack's '65
Well I'm getting to the point where I'm wanting this truck done faster than I can get things done on it...thinking about farming out the rest of the body parts to be media blasted and also the body and paint work...kinda sucks because I really wanted to do it all myself. But I feel like I'm losing s...

At quick glance of the pics your cab is in much better shape than most! That black goop could be tar that someone threw on it to stop the rust. It's gonna suck getting it off I'm sure...but good luck and keep on moving along...Project looks great

Re: My other hobby
I have about $7,000 total in my whole setup with the 50" plasma that is behind the projector, then add in the projector and all of my surround sound equipment and speakers. The projector itself is about $3,000 with screen, and mount and cables.

Finally got myself a projector for my home theater...went with 106" screen and Epson projector. Fits nice with my setup...screen comes down in front of the tv so I can use it for movies and sports, but use the tv for normal tv viewing. Normal does not include Velocity Channel...lol http://i902....

Hey Paul I haven't decided if I'm gonna use that spare mount...most likely not. If I decide I'm not gonna use it you can have it...just pay the shipping.Paul Merrell wrote:Does anyone know where I can buy a spare tire mount, like the one in right rear of this bed.
