Finally got enough issues resolved so I could put Scarlett on the road. Was only a few miles but felt good to get her out an drive again. Need to sort out the temp gauge issue, paint the bed, install the tach and adjust the timing a bit but should be able to take on a longer shake down run this week...

Re: speedometer questions

You can download a GPS app for your phone for free that shows your MPH, direction and other interesting things. Need to make sure I put one on my phone so I can check the speedo against it going to SS.

Re: Source for fuses?

Gave you poor info, jet lag, I guess, original was a 2 amp, closest easy replacement is an SFE 4, same length. Finding such by itself is a little "iffy", but most auto parts will carry a Littelfuse assortment of SFE fuses, which generally includes the 4 amp. The inexpensive kit may well c...

Source for fuses?

There is an extremely short fuse in the fuse block under the dash of my 66. It is in the slot labeled Inst Pnl. It's about 5/8" long. None of my local NAPAs or OReilly's have them. Anyone have a source for them?

Re: Unibody LED Taillights

Yep, kinda pricy at $175 plus shipping. I believe there are more reasonable alternatives out there. I had a buddy make his own LED tail lights for his 67 Mustang. Bought the board and LEDs off ebay and soldiered them up when we were working nights one time. Didn't take him long and even buying a bun...

I used orange stripper to remove the paint on my 65 bezel. I polished it and clearcoated it. Turned out pretty nice.
