Re: 65 cab + 1977 SWB Stepside 4X4?
So basically it's just point and shoot? Would a one inch body lift clear all of the problem areas AND would it interfere with steering column angle and such? This is still in the "maybe" stage and depends on if I trade my tired little Mustang for the 77 4X4. I knew the truck 20 years ago b...

I always find this type of footage humbling. We easily forget the power that God has.

Re: The Difference Between Men And Women
WOW! Almost 15 years of marriage to the same woman (who really is an amazing wife and perfect for me) I can say this is right on the head! The best wisdom I ever got from an old married guy (wife #4): "Every woman is crazy, you jst have to decide what kind of crazy you can tolerate. It's more i...

What company makes a new car of this quality?

I got this video in an email and was amused at what this old car could do.

65 cab + 1977 SWB Stepside 4X4?
Decisions decisions! I posted my spare, mostly rust free cab for sale. I also posted my 1991 Mustang LX project for sale. As luck would have it, a local freind wants to trade a 77 F100 4X4 for the Stang. The idea of trading and putting the 65 cab on the 77 chassis is intriguing me. The 77 has rust i...

Re: Loosen rusty bolts?
So, it should loosen the exhaust studs on my 91 Mustang so I can pull the head without breaking anything? If something breaks I can blame you guy, right?

Loosen rusty bolts?
I found this on Facebook and was going to put it in Hints and Tricks, but I thought I would see if anyone can confirm it first: PENETRATING OILS Machinist's Workshop Mag recently published some information on various penetrating oils that I found very interesting. Some of you might appreciate this. ...

Re: I need opinions on engine choice
$600 seems steep to me for a 360. I bought a 352 from a 67 100 fro $150. It already had a 4 barrel manifold (iron, not aluminum). It was complete minus carb, distributor and exhaust manifolds. My truck already had a 352 so it was a straight swap and simple. I drive like I'm 98 so it doesn't get abus...

What's it worth?
I might change directions on the old truck so I'm looking for advice. I was going to swap cabs on Grandpa's old Slick, but I can't bring myself to swap out all of "his" old parts to parts he never knew. I know some would feel this is being too sentimental, and maybe it is, but I think I ca...

I want to thank a member here
I was in Mesa Arizona on vacation last week for the first time. While I was there we discussed going to a local cruise spot but it didn't happen. I posted about it on here wondering if any other members might be there. kstones63 said it was a nice spot but wouldn't be there. He was nice enough to in...

Re: Need a vehicle shipper!
Is there anyone on this site that does vehicle transportation? Since my vacation to Mesa I've decided I want to get one of their surplus of rust-free vehicles. I don't have piles of cash and I'm not ready to do it this year. I'm just trying to plan for next year, maybe. The wife has a sister in Mesa...

Re: Vacation in Arizona
We ended up not making it. I'm just in awe from running around and seeing the stuff sitting everywhere. In Ohio everything you see is like Swiss cheese with rust. Right now I'm looking at a 1978 ElCamino that my sister in law inherited from her father. One owner and alloriginal and never seen snow! ...

Here I am in Arizona and gettingjelous of all of the non rusted old steel. Sis is talking about a big carshow at McDonalds tonight in or around Mesa at the pavilion ( I think). If you see a short fat guy with two women, two boys and three girls say hi to me.

Re: Killed my engine last night...
Pike channel on TV has auto shows on the weekends. I think it was two Sundays ago the built and dynoed a 300. I can't remember what the numbers were but I remember I was impressed. I think if you go to the Spike web site and look for "Power Nation" and "Engine Power" under that y...

Re: Resistor wires?
Yep, clear as mud. I did follow all of that but my question is why the resistor wires and for that matter, why resistor plugs. I understand lower voltage to the coil to extend parts life. I remember the days of hearing the radio buzz when the engine runs. I guess I should go with resistor wires then...
