My 66 Merc & my 66 F100 have padded dashes. Don't know if Custom Cab would make any difference. My F100 is. Both pads are Black.

62% mostly missed the years. The hard ones were from the WW2 years they were so close before and after.

Haven't used one a Slick but I owned a 79 Bronco for 20 years. I think a person could fab some brackets to narrow it up.

Thanks for posting this Tom I have seen the ads they keep coming up. When you look at he's feedback he's a scammer. Wonder where he's get's the trucks from. Where he says he's located I could drive up and have a look at them. But not interested in them with him as a seller.

The paint might need to cure more to harden all the way. How long ago was it painted? How thick were the coats?

I would buy a whole car first. That way you get everything you need for the swap. Then sell the rest to get some of your money back. Used Mustangs aren't that $$$ to find.

The 300 6cyl are great little trucks. They run forever. The older 300's you would do headers & intake & carb to hop them up. Not very well versed with the fuel injected motors.

I can see that combo in a lot of older cars & trucks. I like the idea on new power plants in older cars.

Sinc you have the best posts. Love the cars of course the 2 Fords are my favorites. Great to see them get the recognition they deserve.

Two wheel drive can't be switched to 4X4. Too much is different. Like others have said a newer 4X4 frame is needed.
