Steve, the convertor is fully seated when the trans goes in and when i tighten the bell housing bolts completely there is NO wiggling the convertor, it's like it's sandwiched between the pump and the flex plate, tightly. but after some more research i think the flex plate is the culprit. Pat has one...

well, got the headers and got the hammer :bangin: and now the headers will fit(sorta) had to move the tranny lines and then the damn thing wouldn't move. bs.jpg Talk about being bummed, :cussing: so i dropped the pan and tried a filter and fluid change.......NO luck. wasn't getting any fluid to pump...

SHE'S ALIVE!!!!! finally got the ol' girl fired up the other night. about 8" of exhaust on each side , but, I got wood :D . also fixed the instrument panel and had to redo the steering column. here's another little difference between a 64 and a 62.....the steering columns are different as well...
