The hp is pretty good depending on build. Torque is down. Let us know what components your running. Tweeking and tunning should bring torque back up into the lower 400s where it should be.

Re: Who out there has rebuilt a 352 with good horsepower ?

If you go the aftermarket route you can pick up 100 to 200 extra bucks for your heads depending on the casting #s. It always helps to pick up extra bread to fund the project.

7.3/fe swap

7.3/fe swap

My name is Chris and I m new here. Good to find other gear heads liking these trucks. I have 2 65 V8 trucks. Has any one here done a 352 to 7.3 swap? My 2wd f250 is the same suspension as my f100 2wd down to the spindels. Ive got a complete IDI w/c6 and extras.

Changed mine

I converted my 65 2wd F100 some years back from a 73. Pw s and disk pw b was a nice change. The steering colum took some shorting but the i beams and gear box were bolt on. The booster was a hudge one that made the fe valve cover a pain adjust valves so I switched to a 71 that was a smaller od. Chan...
