An additional 44 exploded-view schematics posted...
Over the past couple days I've scanned and uploaded an additional 44 hi-res exploded-view schematics from the Ford Truck Master Parts Catalogs, for a total of 212...which completes the first wave. As of now, every single schematic from the '57-'63 U.S. MPC and '61-'64 Canadian MPC has been scanned a...

Re: Clunk Behind the Seat
Ford put out a technical service bulletin article in 1967 which deals with this: Article 1161 - Fuel Sender Float Rattle TSB #76 - September 29, 1967 (All 1965 to 1968 F Series with In Cab Fuel Tanks) The fuel sender float can strike the upper edge of the fuel tank under conditions of 3/4 full or mo...

Re: Engine angle
Try looking over the Body Builders Layout Books...they might help. While they don't specifically give a measurement in degrees, they do specify how much lower the transmission output shaft centerline needs to be below the top of the frame.

http://www.fordification.info/tech/images/mpc/diagrams-th.jpg I spent a good part of the weekend scanning and posting more hi-res exploded-view diagrams from the '57-'63 and '64-'72 MPCs, as well as some from the 1961-1964 Canadian MPC. A reference shot of the dash with the radio holes but no installed radio would be great too.

Gravemetal: Thanks for those dimensions! You can send pics to me at admin at fordification dot com.
I just got some really great pics of the '67-only radio and posted them here, to give you an idea of what I'm looking for:

Need factory radio dimensions
Just curious...has anyone ever tried installing a Slick radio in '67 truck? The '67 model has a much smaller radio than the '68-up trucks, and it just dawned on me that the Slick radio is also smaller. Wondering if they'd swap with no mods needed. If so, it would provide a solution for '67 truck own...

Differences in turn signal switch wiring shown in diagrams
Finally got the 1965 Ford Truck Body Builders Layout Book today that includes the master wiring diagram. I decided to scan it and then (using Photoshop) layering it over the top of the 1966 diagram for comparison purposes. I found that the two diagrams are absolutely identical. They literally used t...

Re: Full-color 1966 wiring diagram posted...
OK, I've uploaded the corrected wiring diagram showing the proper firing order of 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8. I don't know how the hell they missed the fact that they got #2 and #8 reversed, but I guess it's not the first time I've run across an error in their books. Oh well...it's fixed now. As mentioned, if ...

Holy crap....it was just brought to my attention that the firing order for this schematic is incorrect! I was actually concentrating on the wiring aspect of this diagram and didn't pick up on that detail. But it's not my mistake...Ford actually had it wrong it two different wiring diagrams from thei...

Just thought I'd give you guys a sneak preview of what I've been working on for the past couple weeks. I'm taking the factory 1966 black-and-white wiring diagram and converting it to a full-color version...with each circuit identified by circuit number and primary wire color (with stripe as needed)....

Yes , the vacuum booster needs vacuum. Normally the hose is attached to a nipple that's screwed into an intake manifold runner.
