Is the 03+ CrownVic wheel bolt pattern the same as stock slick wheels? I find 5x114.3 for the CV in my searching ?

Re: Replacing a 240 I6 with something smaller?
I hate to beat the dead diesel horse but how bout the 3.9 Cummins. Parts for the 5.9 are plentiful and interchange with the 3.9. Good mileage, lots of parts, lots of power, aftermarket support if you want it, your rebuild will last for many miles. I guess the drawback maybe finding the 3.9 block and...

Re: Replacing a 240 I6 with something smaller?
What are you after exactly? Better mileage? With a 2.3L I doubt you would get a significant improvement in mileage. The 2.3L I had was in a fox body, lighter than our trucks. It was very underpowered! The 2.3L turbo's are better if your transplanted a turbo engine in it would probably make adequate ...

I'm a little shy to elaborate on the V8Mercury... I think if you go off topic on the HAMB they come and take your family in the night. The v8mercury is my 86 Capri. The mustangs ugly cousin says hotrod mag. LOL My Slick is a 61 unibody LWB. It was all Mercury'd out when I got it. It has all of the b...
