Ya know, thinking about old tv shows like the Andy Griffith Show, they always seemed to be exiting the vehicles on the curb side. Easy to do with bench seats being so prevalent back then. Maybe it was more common than we think?

There's a lot of posts on this topic at the Ford Six Performance website. They too reference the Mopar site. Pics of cars that have been painted with a roller are amazing. Sounds easy enough, though a lot of elbow grease.

Truck almost started on the first try, and wouldn't even turn over on second try. I have power though. Try calling Leach Enterprises in Crystal Lake Illinois. They are a truck and semi trailer parts place. They put a diesel in a 65 with a utility body. Sweet truck!! Been in several parades. They might be able to give you some ideas.
