Uh....... err ah, I don't think I can count that high.
I ran out of fingers and toes; but I promise the number of donors is far less than BroncoTom's.
Lets just say Nadine is the sum total of all of her parts...... so far.

Yes to both questions. 1. With the truck in neutral, jack up the rear of the truck (both wheels) and turn one wheel. The other wheel will turn in the same direction if you have a posi. An open rear wheel will turn backwards or not move at all from the direction you rotate the wheel. This is the best...

Ice. If it is a crease, do like Jim says and cut the crease. I'd use a dremel tool, a jig saw with a fine blade, or something that makes a very fine cut. Also, stop drill each end of the crease so it doesn't migrate when you start pulling it out. If you stop drill first, you can get your jig saw in ...

Straight flush.

Have been chatting with our latest addition to the Lone Star Slick's Chapter and Yvonne says she has a DRIVABLE '61 SWB.
That is the last key to our chapter having all the Slick year models.
Good going Yvonne. We drew to an outside straight flush.
Anybody else got that yet?

Frank. Are you sure you don't have a leaking windshield rubber? Get someone to spray the front of the truck, one area at a time while you lay in the floorboard (doors and windows closed of course ) and look for the leak with a flashlight. I'm betting its going to be the bottom corner of the windshie...

I hate to say I told you so..... really I do 8) .
But brakes have got to be job one for every one of us.
No matter how expensive the upgrade, brakes are cheaper than replacing an irreplaceable Slick.

427 cylinder head casting numbers

Guys. Jim here in Houston may have already asked this question, but I haven't seen it or any answers. He's looking at a set of heads advertised as 427's and the casting number on them is C4AE-6049- H . I don't think its a 427 but I could be wrong (I am on a regular basis) . In all my books, the only...

another option

Michael.
I'm using the BB Mustang unit too.
But a guy in Illinois (Truckfarmer's buddy) who is a big buck street rodder uses the '86 Crown Vic M/C because its aluminum and can be polished up like chrome. Might find one and try it...... I'm betteng it would work too.

Sandblasting 101

Well, for all you guys that weren't members on the old web site, Bork and Joey used to brag about sandblasting naked. TMI...... if you've ever seen a picture of Joey, you'd understand how ugly things could get. Never really saw a picture of Bork, but I can't imagine it would be much better. But I di...

Heads up Texas and Oklahoma/ Pate in April

Its never to early to start planning, so here we go. TruckRat (he's a nagger) reminded me this week that Pate Swap Meet in Ft. Worth will be at the end of April. We had a ball the last couple of years and expect it to get even better in '07. It's one of the largest swap meets in the US and is held a...
