Re: '93 Lincoln 4.6L, good donor for engine swap?
Yes, the 4Vs fit well. They are very wide on top due to the big top end. I've seen the Cobra, Mach and Lincoln DOHC engines being swapped. Actually saw a Coyote 5.0 swapped as well. Those are more expensive since they are newer mills but would love to do one!

Re: '93 Lincoln 4.6L, good donor for engine swap?
Love the 4V's. If I could find one of these combos cheap enough, I would put it the 65 I plan for a CV swap. I believe you would need specialty engine mounts. Several guys have used the 32 valves in their CV swap. Check out the FB for more info. Not trying to push people away from the motherboard bu...

Re: 300 c.u.i Hot and cold together??? Problem solved updat
Good to hear, would like to find a mechanic that does not charge over 100.00 dollars an hour, and actually knows how to work on these. All I can find are high dollar...low knowledge type r and r shops. Agreed, it is becoming a lost art. Asked about points and distributors at a local O'Reilley's par...

Eaton and other companies us it on their superchargers. The large air compressors we had at one of the powerplants I used to work at was screw or scroll type.

I enjoyed the show back when it was running. It was a dog and pony show though. Not a tutorial or how to for guys like us that like to do it ourselves. Foose has some amazing designs but not my taste personally. They set such a tight deadline that there were shortcuts taken to get it completed withi...

Have not pulled the trigger on it yet. Plan on having Andrew do one for me prior to SS next summer. I chose to use him because I know him and have exchanged some parts etc.

Re: What years of 4 speeds can I use in my 66
I am taking a New Process four speed out of my 65. As soon as I get the C-6 in it would be willing to sell my bellhousing and transmission, The tranny shifts flawlessly and it is a good solid tranny. It only has 43,000 original miles on it. How much will you be wanting for the 4 speed tranny and be...
