I just changed out a COM for a C-6. I bought a case of amsoil and had 1 and about a third of a quart left.

I had an autolite one barrel for 20 years with my original 65. After a long process of multiple rebuilds and problems I moved to a carter Y and it never had a problem or stumble. When I sold the truck it only had 649,000 miles and going strong.

I used the motor from a bronco and the intermittent switch from a mid 70's pickup. I used the knob from the 65 and all looks original.

Not sure of the tooth count. I am going to change out the gauges after xmas so will probably wait. On the other hand might be good to have one in case plans change. Which ones do you think you have? I will be going to the Albany Swap meet. Do you have a booth?
