Tubeless tires work fine. Good score. They are hard to find. As are the caps. Grab all you can.

Do comments count? I was think it was just posts? If so, Skip's would have been 204,001.

Re: Glove box (Door) VIN data plate
IIRC they (they) will make one from the info you provide. They prefer to have a rubbing, photo etc, for obvious reasons, but... If there's a question, you can always take a pic of your frame vin and send it to them (and maybe copy of title?)

Re: 223six to yblock swap. Different front mt?
There is an "ear" on the front frame cross member (welded on) for the Y-Blocks. Not sure why the frame/mount would be different on the F250 (possibly different if it was a 4X4?).

Re: 65 core support
AIUI the 65 core supports are in short supply (one year only). You could probably sell that one at a premium (if it's in good shape) and buy one that fits your truck.

Re: Rear axle bolt pattern to match crown vic IFS swap
There IS another option to match the rear with the CV bolt pattern. In the early 80's Ford made a light duty pickup truck designated the F-100 (not to be confused with the F150 which was also produced at that time). The years were 81, 82, and 83 if memory serves, but I might be off a year either way...

Both the wheels and mirrors are "super-rare" aren't they? Must have been in a "supplemental" option book.

Looks good and good luck with your recovery. BTW, how old are you. Just curious, as I'm seeing lots of friends have major heart problems at a surprisingly young age.

Re: Swapping 9" passenger axles in my 66
Surprisingly, we (actually Brien) found that the early '80's F100 differentials with the 4.5" bolt pattern weren't as difficult to find as we had expected. They are wider than the Slick 9", but that's why we were after them (and to match the CV front pattern). Good to know. we are still t...

Well, not exactly the same situation (not a museum), but according to Hemmings, ia sink hole ate five Porches in 1981.

Re: exhaust tip opinions please
Another thought would be to build a tip that would match the curve of the body where the license plate is and have the exhaust come out there. http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u254/stonezones63/Nicks%2063%20F100/IMG_1828_zpsd86f5287.jpg Kevin My thought was to have tips that somewhat matched the ...
