Lordy I hate that type of scoop. Even if you had a blower sticking up from under the hood there, that would look better

Yech.

Hope he aint running no ChXXy motor and embarrasing us all

There was that Yellow truck the guy grom the FE forum ran (with an FE in it of course), but he died. Maybe someone bought his truck, put a hideous scoop on it and painted it red.
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

You funny. That truck looks pretty serious with the way it launches. I'm sure most everything on it has a purpose to either make it safe, make it fast or make it fit within class rules. I don't care what it looks like as long as it kicks ass on the drag strip 8)

A guy just over the hill from me has a black '64 he drag races. I think it has a 460 in it, and a tilt front. I'm going to try to get him over to SlickStock. :)

I remember the guy's name that had the Yellow one, it was "Mayhem Bob"

I have seen all kinds of Pro-streets with the same ugly scoop on them, they don't look good on ANYTHING I have seen, Chevelles to 240Z's. they always remind me of the scene in "Alien" just before the alien rips out of the guys stomach and takes off to hide in the ship.
If the guy is concerned about aerodynamics, he might consider doing something about that barn-door of a '66 grille he is pushing, instead :?

Whatever the guy has hiding in that scoop, it must be too tall for the hood
he was running, but that one is a lot more aero than what I ran back in the day. Bitchin Truck, would love to see that one make some passes. :D [/i][/b]
