Well,

Took Christine out for a 120 mile road trip last night, no suprises, no tickets. Man the 472 cube fuel injected big block runs  . Finatic had photo evedence of her sitting next to his Yellow uni.

Man it feels good to FINALLY have a slick on the road been only Seven years....... :D

See everyone at Slick Stock on Thursday after i get back from Pheonix.

Hey Garbz
Glad to hear your on the raod :D :D :D . But my slick has been down longer than that. Almost TWO decades  . Bought it as a driver :D .Then decided fix it :) . Started, stopped and changed the project more times than I care to count :? :(. But the good news is the Slick is on the front burner :) . Must be finished by spring or the guys who help me will have me killed  . So I too plan to be at next Slick Stock with Hoofbeat no matter where it is :D . But also plan to go to Super Nationals Next Year :D.

I'm assuming you guys are taking about the Super Nats in Knoxville. I've been going for the past 14 years with various trucks or just setting up in the swap area. Was not impressed this year at all. Out of 500 some trucks there were only around 6 slicks to be found. Kind of makes it hard when one is trying to find a truck with the original paint scheme to snap some photos of for my paint guy. I miss how the show was before it moved out of Pigeion Forge. 1500+ trucks and everything else all cramed into a mile or so along the strip. I cant wait till the show builds back up again (if it ever does). I miss the atmosphere more than the trucks.

68 wow! I must have zeroed in on the two tone paint jobs and blindly walked by the others. I know I wasn't able to find a two tone red and white. Several people I spoke too agreed there wasn't one there. My Cousins wedding was in Gatlenburg that Saturday. With all the chaos I'm not surprised I was out of it. Least next year there are no plans to set up in the swap area. We are planning on bringing a few trucks down and just haveing a relaxing weekend. Hopefully the 66 (mine) will be in paint by then (even if I have to break down and do it myself) The 69 or 53 (Both Dads) will either come with it. Depending on where I'm working at the time my 73 Bronco may even get me there.

They lie. 8)
Mine was there, but only for Friday and most of Saturday, IIRC. Parked in the back lot, as that is all that was left for us late arrivals.

I totally missed all of those. If they were snakes I guess I would have been bitten.
