Hello all newbee on the site been learking for a while now.
I am looking for new foam for a bench seat in a 64 f100. I switched my seat out for buckets and just don't like it. I want to rebuild my old bench seat. I have found from LMC the fabric, but I still havn't found new foam. If any out there knows where I can please let me know. My old form for the most part is ok but the corners on driver side has holes and I can see springs .
Current status on truck:
Currently the truck is down for repair. I have a 460 under the hood and the right side motor mount is hanging on by one small weld. I bought a unerversal cross for that truck and engine combo but the tube gave way on it. Going to build new cross with better strength. I am also cleaning up engine compartment and installing new Rad, plus I'm chaining down both sides now.
I currently have one project going right now other than my truck (always on going) and that is a 1971 Torino. It is currently on a ROT and will be fininshed in about 4 years or so. No rush on that project doing body work first not last like pickup.
Ok shut up chris. Thanks for any help on finding the part.

I made my own for my '71 and it looks factory. I used a denser foam for better padding, cut to fit with a serrated knife, then used contact cement on both sides to hold it in place. Then rough cut the corners so they were sorta rounded. Then took an orbital sander with 80 grit and contoured it to shape. Came out perfect. In fact, because I used hard to find original factory material (not found at LMC, NPD or others-at least for 67-72s) I get people that know those trucks asking me all the time where I found a seat in such good condition.
My Slick is rustier than your Slick!
Any decent sized city will have a couple of automotive upholstry places that would gladly sell you a few feet of padding. No one makes a pre-fitted size, as the padding can be cut to size easily.
I had my old seat completely re-done for $300 locally -- it was money well spend as they did a really professional job.
I took the seats down to the frame ahead of time, repainted all the exposed parts, even repainted the sliders and used oxide solution to blacken the bolts into the floor so it all looks original.

Thanks for the info
Thanks fo rthe info I had a feeling i would have to find a decent upholstry shop to get this bench set back to working status. I might try just getting the form and shaping it, then again depends on how much either option would cost. Does anyone know of one in the North Ft Worth TX area?
