No more whining....

Post by Uncle Skip »

I finally figured it all out.

My mailbox is being flooded with mail concerning gas prices and illegal
immigrants. To boycott oil companies or not; to provide amnesty to
illegal immigrants or not, etc.

Since I have become disgusted in total to the various solutions proposed by the Republicans, Democrats, Sierra Club, ACLU, etc. I have elected to solve the problems as they affect me. It solves both my gas and illegal immigrant problems.

I have hired illegal immigrants to push my Slick. They're plentiful and
cheaper than buying gas. Then I pay them in Pesos so they have to go
home to spend it.

I love it when a plan comes together.

So many illegals, wouldn't it be easier to line the highways with them, and have a bucket brigade situtation. Each one giving you a push on to the next one. Everyone could save on gas , and the only polution would come from the refried beans. I do have a plan for that also. It involves rubber hoses and piping to natural gas lines to heat our homes. Suddenly we have a cure for two problems, and less dependence on big oil and gas. We all know this won't fly, as those who control congress, won't let it happen. No money in it for them.

Skip you will be interested to know that the three most frequently asked questions at Slickstock were

1) where in the h3ll are those Texas boys?
2) wonder how come Iceman couldn't come
3) anyone know where I can get a fuel filter?

Lyman was so sick of getting asked I think he was telling people he was from Canada by the end...

I'm rolling on the floor.
I am absolutely certain that Lyman represented us just fine.
I know I speak for all of us when I say I wish we could have made the journey. I do know that Kansas City is a do-able thing for most of us so maybe if we're still alive and kicking in '08 you'll see some Texans up there.... maybe a few Okies too.
I should probably plan to bring some Texas Red (if I could keep Max out of the pot until I get there I would) with me when I go north. 8)
Hope you all had a great time. I'm envious.

I'm glad I got a filter before they sold out, Yes, U.S. Lyman was a great spokesman for the great state of Texas. I enjoyed very much talking with him and everyone else.

And another thing, why in the hell should I have to "opt out"! I NEVER opted in!The feds are in the hip pockets of the big money so deep, they can't get out. So they pass legislation that lets the banks, etal use your informatiom any way they choose, but you have the right to "opt out". What a crock. And this was sold up front as legislation to protect the consumer!! B.S. Next time I'll tell you how I really feel!!!
Oops, I just hi-jacked Skip's post..........It's O.K. he can "opt out"...........
