temp gauges are different

dont know how many of you have noticed this and i am not sure about the years each were used.
this is for the round style speedo
the temp numbers are different
in my 66 i have an earlier gauge i took to replace the broken one .i noticed this because i drove both mine and my wifes 66 within a short time period the other day
