10% ethenol, 90%Problems!

Post by needmoretime »

I am hearing storys about the enthenol blend and experienced a break down this evening that caught me off guard. I guess I will change a few more fuel filters or at least carry a couple. My truck has been rock solid for the Nationals and SS. They (the gas stations) even have warnings to boaters to come inside before fueling!

Word of advice! Carry a filter and be on the lookout for debris loosing up in the fuel system and causing problems. My thought is its temp. until your system gets the ethenol flush treatment unless you have a plastic tank.

See? another 6 cylinder bitten by the fuel gremlin. My gas doesn't stay in the tank long enough to go bad!

I actually had 3 gallons left from PA! It has to be the quaker state stuff! LOL

The reason it only showed up a day after I got home was the excellent mileage I am getting. I used 27 gallons the whole time driving everynight to Hershey. Maybe sucked in a kitkat bar?
