Yeah, that looks pretty awful!!!! And talk about no leg room!! They also should have set the body an inch or two further back on the chassis to better center the tires in the wheel wells.

I agree. That dash is awful. The craftsmanship on the rest of the truck is first rate. I wonder if the builder is the same person that did the dash? It looks to me that they did a complete floor/firewall/frame swap and somehow during the process that dash got stuck in there? I am picky so I would have added stainless trim around the windshield. I like the tailgate. Looks to me that a regular rusted gate could be re skinned that way and salvaged? Beauty truck on the outside. IMHO.

Why would go to all the trouble of fitting everything, and then use that dash! I also thing big wheels look dumb and out of place on a classic vehicle. IMO

While its not my taste to be sure, I have built things in my life that ended up imperfect.. I hope the owner of this truck isn't a lurker, I always hate to trash anything this side of Black Gold.. ;)

Non uni doors. Wasn't warranty tag in glove box that year? Open arm rest and window crank holes. I would bet the body is molded out of body filler.

Warranty tag is in the glove box in 1962.
I suppose you could rivet it to the plastic too...............
In it's defense - it does solve certain issues installing the 5.0 and keeping the interior connected to it - AC etc.
It probably would have looked better "fit" if it were closer to the windshield.
1964 F 100 - I am going to do "something" with it.......

Uh, I just threw up in my mouth...a lot.

And those non-uni doors throw off the lines bigtime. It may look subtle to some but it sticks out like a sore thumb to me. Like others have said, good workmanship on most of it but the builder looses all credibility with that dash

IMO the factory dash is one of the most aesthetically pleasing aspects of the slick series vehicles, and that guy(or gal) really screwed it up.

Also red and maroon don't go together as demonstarted by the interior of this vehicle.

The custom dash makes this trucks interior discusting.

If the owner is a member or lurker here I apologize if I've cuased any offense.

I`d have it, even with the doors and wagon wheel wheels, but I must say that is the biggest hole cut in a dash I`ve ever seen!

If the dash is an example of the craftmanship it took to build that imagine what the rest of the truck looks like.

Yeah looks that way... no inner step.

They make that interior spray paint....20 bucks worth of black could go a long ways.

A Mercury F100, must be a Canadian truck!

Yeah, the dash and goofy wheels would have to go.
