turn signal switch diagram

Post by shocker998md »

Hey guys,
I could use some help here. The last bit of wiring I need to do to my 66 f100 is my turn signal switch. I put a 75 column in so it has a 75 signal switch in it. I cannot seem to find a good diagram that will break down the colors of the wires that come off the switch to tell me where they go. It has a new BWD switch in it and this is the last thing I need to get my truck finished with the re wire. Can anybody help me?

There is a way to figure it out with a multimeter and some tape. Does it have 7 wires coming out of it?

See if the diagram in this thread helps. I think there is a difference between manual and auto, one has one less wire than the other, this is the one with the fewest wires. And it is for use with the '61 wire colors

9 wires makes sense as the one my diagram represents is 8. The 9 wire version is for auto. The colors don't seem to match, though.
