last nite I bought a disassembled slick shortbed and spied a long wrong bed made into a trailer. the bed looked good from a glance and I inquired if it was for sale as well. I made the deal on the slick and had not got home and he called me and let me know that it too was for sale.. supposedly from a 58. they also have hood and doors from that truck. I can buy it super reasonable if someone wants it. the long wrong bed has no tailgate. this wooded farm is covered with junk trucks and tractors and collapsing buildings. beer cans everywhere and a blue tarp on the roof of the house. this is a pickers dream. a lot of this stuff is from the 40's. I am going to pickup my slick frame and sheet metal on sunday. I scored a good shortbed slick bed with straight sides and a good straight floor and frame, cab, inner fenders, fenders, and a good core support for a 65. if there is an interest I can take some pics of the 58 long wrong bed trailer on sunday. it has the wrap around rear bumper.
