That crossmember under the front looks a little strange for 64, tell us more, and welcome.

Strange cross member, small pattern wheels and tiny hub...
I'd say torsion suspension, of pin star origins I'd bet.
Still a great looking slick.

Found this truck on craigslist and though the body is good everything else a mess...The previous owner raced the truck and put a 74 LTD front end for disc brakes and 302 engine w/C6 trans..... (So Torino guess fairly darn accurate...Darril sez probably same chassis) Darril sez probably torsion, as no springs... also did fantastic New Mexico paint job.....he wanted to put stock rims back on .....too expensive and the rear tires had to be wide as rear end was stock F-100 in order ....Darril was always a Mopar man until now so all this is a new experience for him.....I say farm truck 'cuz of the donkeys!!!!! Need to load hay etc. starting a riding program for teens using BLM Mustangs trained at Hutchinson Correctional Facility.......very excited! So hence need for truck.....

Darril adds...... They need to get rid of this electronic shit...the joy when he discovered this puppy has points :)

Edit: Yes we have springs....
