styleside bed
I'm not real knowledgeable about 4X4 trucks. Did 65"s use styleside bed?
Re: styleside bed
Here is a thread from this website, toward the bottom is a picture of a blue truck with the correct bed for a 1965 4x4, that truck has 8 lug wheels, assuming its an f250. I believe these are referred to as "wrong beds" as they were from the late 1950's model trucks, but were used as the correct bed up through 1965 f100's and f250's 4x4's as the factory supplied bed.
The 1966 f100 4x4's had the same style side bed as you see on the 65-66 2wd trucks. I am not sure about which bed was supplied on the 66 f250.

Others who own 4x4's please chime in for corrections, if I have made errors. My 65 4x4 does not have the correct, factory issued "wrong bed".

A 65 4x4 has a "wrong bed". Don Zollars has one. I'll see if i can find a pic of his in the slickstock snaps
