I have removed the ac unit from my truck in preparation for a Engine swap.
Do I need to pull vacuum on the unit while it is off the truck or just plug the lines?

If it cain't be fixed with a sledge hammer it must be an electrical problem!

Just plug the ends that are open (I always just taped them up tight)
Then when you re-assemble , pull a vacuum before filling with freon
