Looking good Bruce. A stand to test run an engine would be invaluable in certain situations. Could save you a lot of heartache and hours when troubleshooting, rebuilding, or proving the viability of an engine.

Beats breaking in camshafts and fixing oil leaks in the vehicle. Did you come into a control panel from an Industrial engine ?

Not sure what the question about control panel refers to. I fabbed everything from scratch. Just used a thin plate for an ignition switch and mounted the solenoid to the radiator frame. I've since added a gauge pack so I have oil and water temp. Still trying to figure out what to do with the exhaust. I plan on using a spare passenger side manifold on the drivers side and making a y-pipe and single muffler so I might actually be able to hear the engine. I have two FEs that I need to figure out their actual condition. Both have sat for a while. In order to run a valid compression test, I have to get them to operating temp, thus why I decided to make this. It would also be good for ensuring I have oil leaks buttoned up since that is an issue with engines of our era.

Got it "finished" - at least for now. Here's a video of a 1966 352 running on it (Thanks Grump!):

Might have to adjust the rear mount as I used the bell housing where the transmission mounts and I can't test out a transmission with the engine. Exhaust was created mostly from scraps, reminds me of the Baja Bug stingers.
