3 choices
hose leaking
fitting in booster on hose cracked/leaking
booster itself is gone

have someone operate the brakes while you look/ listen under the hood

I had a feeling the booster was bad. I have noticed I have to apply more pressure than usual when I use the brakes. I will have to give everything a good look tomorrow.

Thanks, Don

Well, I finally was able to take my truck for a drive (the last 3 days, it wouldn't start) to test the new larger brake booster. I am really surprised and pleased at how good the brakes are now. The pedal goes down slightly more but when the brakes take hold, you know it.
