223 alternator conversion

Post by DukeRoche »

For those that have the 223 I6 and have converted from generator to alternator how and where did you mount the alternator? Did you fabricate your own mount or did something off another truck/engine fit? Thanks.

I've seen alternators that externally look just like generators. Might be the easy way to go.

Ive seen these to and am considering it. They are pricey but should be a simple conversion.
