What does a FACTORY CHASSY look like? Need help!

Post by Andy fox »

All my vin numbers match on my '66 f100 4x4. Frame, doors and title all match.
Guy is saying my front end suspension looks non factory from a later year. He said that because it does not match his "factory" 66 4x4 that he supposedly has. I think his is wrong. I haven't seen it though. When I look up parts the all match my 4x4. Sorry I can't upload any pics.

I'm asking y'all to post pics of your CHASSY front end. Thanks.

Water is the best way to confirm if the chassy is factory or not

Yes I have confirmed all the vin numbers. They are matching. Guy thinks the suspension and steering is from newer Ford. I just confirmed steering box is correct. He's thrown off by the added on steering stabilizer and camper special sticker. He thinks it's a 2wd possibly which is ridiculous because the vin is f11 not f1. I'm sure it's a factory 4x4 but any other way I can confirm the steering and suspension

F10 or F25 = 2WD

F11 or F26 = 4WD

I'd say he doesn't know what he's looking at. I've had a few people trying to tell me how somethings supposed to be but their all wrong.
