Emergency Flasher Knob Benzel and nut

Post by AlsRyd66 »

Anyone have a spare they can sell me? This is the blank one for the 65/66 F100 Custom Cab (I'm sure it fits others) pull on/off knob, not the emergency flasher itself. Part C5TZ-15C580-A. This is not what DC and others sell under this number. I just need the chrome blank benzel and nut. PO decided to cut off the old one and now I'm stuck with finding the holy grail of slick dash benzels!
Or at least what is a good replacement that will work? Thanks - Al

Problem being, if we have the bezel we also have the rest of it. Most will not sell one without the other.

I'll buy the whole thing if I have to as long as the bezel is in good shape. Although I won't spend a stupid amount, I'll gerry rig something from another bezel if push comes to shove.

Al,

I have some parts coming in the mail soon. If I can make these work for my project, I will have the bezel/nut left over.

The current setup I have is a separate small black bracket that holds the switch and the flasher. Can be bolted under the dash and you would see the words emergency flasher stamped into the bracket (although the bezel/nut would cover some of the wording) or it could be mounted all behind the dash with the switch through the dash and the bezel/nut only visible with no wording.

Let me know if you still need the one piece bezel/nut.

Posting so this may help others.

Parts below are from a Bronco, the bezel and nut fits the existing emergency switch with harness that plugs in under the dash. Bezel matches the others for the trucks.

Sent you a pm, I have the other bezel/nut(one piece) if you still want or need it.
