The bottom had a lip and the top has 3 or 4 bolts. I just pulled the tank in my 66. It may get caught in those bottom lips and be a pain in the butt.

The bottom sets in a metal piece bolted to the floor with the frame mounting bolts for the cab. You need to take the filler neck out and most likely the robber hose off the tank so you can slide the tank to the drivers side and remove it from the cab out the passenger side. Kind of tricky even with the seat out. I believe you have to lean the tank forward at the top, then raise the tank off the lower supports to get it to come out. The seat has to be all the way forward.

A small pry bar works wonders. Place it on the floor at the end of the tank, pry it upward, then do the other end the same way. Sure will save your back, and cut down on the swear words.... :cussing:

The Bible says in:
James 3:10

Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
