Frame width

Post by mongrot »

Could someone please help me with the frame width ? I'm looking at buying a 70's tube rear bumper for my '61 flareside and i'm not sure it'll fit. My trucks are 600 miles away :( or I'd go and measure myself. If someone has a flareside and could tell me the overall width of the back of the truck (fender bottom to fender bottom) that would help too. Thanks

If the tube bumper is from a Styleside, overall length may be an appearance issue. Fordification.info has all the dimensions. I can grab an overall width measurement in the morning if needed!

It's home made I believe but a very nice job. I don't know what it's made to fit. If you do have those measurements it would be helpful, then again, I could always get it shortened if it's too wide.
