Wiper switch redo..

Post by Day 2 »

Took the switch apart, not much to it, just a couple of moving parts, some really dried up grease and some dirty contacts. Got it all cleaned up regreased and now I don't have to jiggle the knob  to get them to work...think I'll try that headlight switch next!!!

GREAT JOB on your wiper switch. I like this.... :D

Don't say "I can't do this" before you even attempt it. A person can be amazed at what HE or SHE can do if you just try.

About 20 years ago, I carried some 3/8" X 1 1/4" wide aluminum pieces (for some billet aluminum arm rests I was making) to a machinist, to have him ball mill some grooves in them.

He took one look at them and said "you can't do that". I said do what? He said you can't make a 90% bend in 3/8" aluminum without
it breaking or cracking.

I didn't know that, but he looked just about as confused as I did when I responded by saying "I wish you'd told me that before I did these 90 pieces" :?

You always learn something by trying.......
