Do '75 on 15/16" rear wheel cylinders interchange with stock 7/8" wheel cylinders? Do they bolt right in place with no modification required to intal and use?

Charlie, if I remember correctly I replaced the rears on my F-100 from a 64 Galaxie station wagon, and I believe they are 15/16 dia. Best thing to do is have both in hand and decide...pretty sure the bolt pattern is the same.

I'm trying to avoid ordering them only to find out that they aren't similar enough. The DC catalog indicates that '64 Galaxie would be 7/8".

However, it does indicate the same part number for 15/16" for other cars starting in '59. So it may work alright.

I know these cost more than the Auto Zone types, but they are 15/16. and I'm pretty sure the two bolt holes are the same on all.
Hope this helps.

Their application list includes '75-'79 truck, as well as mid '50s and up cars. I'm thinking they will work.

For those who want to know, the answer is yes, they bolt right in.

I'll update later if any problems arise as a result of using bigger cylinders but it seems good so far. They're used '75 on in the 1/2 ton trucks so it seems like they should be a good fit with disc brakes up front, same size drums as the '68 axle assembly I have installed.
