battery hold down

I am trying to find a battery hold down for my 64 styleside. I have all the brackets but i need the top holddown peice. Im tired of haveing to pick my battery up off the frame when ever i hit the brakes hard. I am glead i dont have a acid filled battery and the bungee cord i have just doesnt do much to help.

well the one thats on my 63 was retarded.

I plan to make one that will work a lot better.

All you need is a little angled steel and the J-bolts (any parts house).

make a square ant the tabs for the bolts, and you are good to go.
