Just Wondering if anyone might be able to help me out

Post by gk »

I have a 63 and it broke down a couple weeks ago. It starts up and runs real strong for a minute or so then putters out and dies soon after. I replaced the fuel pump thinking that might be the problem but that didnt do the trick. Im at a loss as to what to even try next i was curious if anyone has had similar problems

Welcome to slicks. you may have to look over the carb and check for other problems, maybe fuel line sucking in air. could be many things there

Have you seen the other slicks in town also? One is a green and white long box. Another one is a yellow shortbox. I have also seen a red one.

I live up North of Denver, I see a lot of slicks around. Only one of my passions. Gotta love old Fords.
