I am back!

Post by azjake »

Today I bought a 1964 F100 Custom Cab Fleetside longbed with a 292, 4 speed and a strange tailgate. There is 35,000 on a rebuilt engine. It needs a little TLC before hitting the pavement again. I hope to be driving it in a week, or so.

Thanks, Bill. It is good to be back. I worked on the '64 today and hope to get it running in the next day or so. It may be getting a single wire alternator.

Well, I finally got to drive Tumbleweeds today. Drove it about 3 miles to the Shell gas station in Tonopah, filled her up then headed back home. Of course, our grand daughter had to ride with me. What fun!!!

Looking good, Jake, but I can't figure out that "not from Arizona" emblem on the lower front fender  .

Paul,

The PO's son rear ended another driver and the grill, hood and left front fender needed to be replaced. They came from NM. Good eye!
